llywelaSorry - we had some problems
One of our computer centres was affected by a power outage on Sunday.
This meant that we weren’t able to bring you services like your Yahoo! Mail or home page as reliably as usual. These Yahoo! services are back to normal.
We are sorry that you didn’t get the kind of service you should have expected from us. We hope it did not inconvenience you too much.

Okay. That would explain why I couldn't get into my email all day on Sunday. It doesn't explain why an LJ comment notification from 12th July dropped randomly into my inbox this morning...
