llywelaHave just been watching Martin Shaw's appearance on Davina's new chat show.
Yay for Martin. Such a star - it was a great interview. He was relaxed, and laughing, and Davina is such a fangirl. *G*
One quibble - he described Pros as having been an albatross for a long time. I must take issue with him on that - the albatross was only bad luck after some idiot went and killed it. And here I thought Martin was an educated man...
But still. Fab interview. Especially when he said he wanted to play another baddie, and Davina gave him some 'evil' lines to read and he just couldn't do it, kept cracking up.
As for series 6 of the Judge - still in talks. Looks like there will either be a sixth complete series, or a collection of two part specials. Yay!
Only just got home in time to see him, though - had an evening event on with work. Boss and I had to navigate our way all the way up to Newbridge for an award presentation to volunteers and war veterans. At 5pm we were still in the office putting certificates in frames. Then we had a mad dash up through the Valleys to get there in time for the service at 6pm. It was held in an absolutely gorgeous Baptist chapel, with the Mayor and local MP in attendance - a good turnout, and a fantastic service led by the paster.
I never expected to find a Brazilian pastor at a Baptist Chapel in the south Welsh Valleys, but was delighted by him. What a lovely man! I wanted to steal him for my own church. *G*
Going to the event made it a really long working day, but I'm so glad I did. Not just because Boss would have got lost without me to navigate her, but because I always enjoy spending time with the volunteers like that. It was great.
