That I really like your reviews? You state things so clearly and while I don't always hold to your POV, it always make me think. I see so much of what you are saying, the only difference is, some of it just doesn't bother me as much as it does you. Though your points are entirely valid. I have gotten into the habit, well the last four weeks at least, of reading your review before I watch the show, as spoilers don't bother me, I find I go in with a mindset of seeing the things you point out from a more critical angle. As for Clara, I really nothing her, as I have told you before, If she left the show today, I would not miss her. So much about her character is just over the top and I have never connected with her with the exception of her very first show, Asylum of the Daleks, but since then... meh is the term I would use if being nice. The difference between me and you regarding her, is that I also don't actively dislike her, I take her as a composite kind of character, a plug and play kind of thing. :-) Though she is somewhat better this year, it's as you say so often, done in a very heavy handed way that actually detracts from her instead of adding to her having a feel as being real and relatable. I see what Moff is trying to do with her and it just isn't working, but like I have said to you before, that doesn't ruin the show for me, just lessens it a bit.
I assume you know who I am, though that may be just a conceit on my part, but really if not here's a clue... You are the woman from Whoville. ;-)
