Thanks Sue! I wasn't going to write it up for posting - I scrawled it all off immediately after watching just to get it off my chest, but then I couldn't let it rest, just kept picking at it until it was postable, at the expense of all the other projects I should have been working on.
Every era of Who has its flaws, and every era eventually gives way to the next. I keep reminding myself of that whenever this one disappoints me! It'll be easier to be forgiving of the flaws here when they are history and the show has moved on. I hope so, anyway.
