I couldn't believe it, either, when my mum phoned and said I'd have trouble getting home because someone was driving around ramming into people in Ely and the roads were closed. I thought it sounded too insane to possibly be true. There was nothing on the news websites at the time, so I thought it must be an exaggeration. And then it turned out to be completely true.

Chelsea didn't see anything of the incident itself, but she was very freaked out when a phalanx of police and ambulances descended and locked the place down! Anastasia was having surgery today to pin her leg - she and her partner are very worried about the toddler being traumatised, but she seems okay so far. Recovery is going to be a bit of a long haul, by the looks of it. I just hope the bastard is sent down for life!
