Having a bit of a weird weekend. Yesterday was completely wiped out by an absolute doozy of a migraine, worst I've had in a very long time - hours and hours of vomiting and misery.
But on the bright side, I was comforted by news item #2 for today: I am dating. For the first time in years - very out of practice. But he's very sweet and kind and loves a lot of the same shows as me (surely half the battle won) and sat with me and was soothing while I was throwing up, which I can't imagine many guys would have done at such an early stage. Too soon to say if it's going anywhere, but I'm appreciating it while it lasts.
And then today my washing machine had a complete nervous breakdown and then combusted and died. My bank balance is still quietly weeping.
I wonder what tomorrow might bring...or maybe I'd better not ask!

Date: 2012-10-07 06:34 pm (UTC)Migraine really does suck and this one really was a doozy, I've never been that sick for that long with one before - what a waste of a sunny Saturday! And then the washing machine went and put the tin hat on the weekend!

Date: 2012-10-08 05:16 am (UTC)The washing machine has done me good service for about 8/9 years now without a single glitch - typical that the very first time it ever develops a fault, it does so in style and dies completely! I've never seen a washing machine have a nervous breakdown before, but that was definitely what this was!

Date: 2012-10-11 02:32 pm (UTC)Bah, migraine and washing machine. Not much to say about either, so I'll just repeat: Bah.
