I find all your research fascinating because I've done quite a bit of my family tree as well. I haven't gone round the graves (although I think I could probably find a few) but those I know of are either in Kent where the family hailed from, or Richmond where some of them moved to.
Are you allowed to go and clear the graves? I don't see why not, and as you say it could provide some more clues.
