Sadly, cats have very little concept of delayed gratification. LOL so true! The posh food last night wasn't to make up for missing breakfast, but to be certain she'd actually have a good meal before the fasting kicked in! She has days where she isn't all that interested in food, sometimes just ignores whatever's in her dish and waits for something better for the next meal. I wanted to make sure there was something really tempting down in case she was having one of those fussy days. And it worked. *G*
