Such a pain all that waiting around. It is the same here in Aus. You are told the technician will be arriving either between 8 a.m and noon, or 12 and 4 pm. It is OK for me because I am home all day, but when you have to take time off work to wait for them, it is definitely not OK, especially when they don't turn up at all.
Sorry to hear your shoulder is still sore. Have you tried heat packs on it?
