They're playing games with you, hon. They all sit down in their writing room and think, 'hey, let's give Chris some breathing space, just to lull her into a false sense of security, and then drag the rug right out from under her again!' LOL
I've enjoyed all the new plots and dynamics, as you know - as much as I loved the claustrophobic feel of last season, I think opening things up again now is healthy for characters, actors and fans alike. But it is nice to have episodes like this that are old-fashioned and simple case files, just the brothers working a job with no outside influences or pressures.
