I don't think Tall Tales is funny either. It does have some nice domestic scenes, but the bits that are supposed to be really just aren't. It's forced humour that comes at the expense of the characters as we have grown to love them, and is derived from a place of them being at odds with one another. Not funny.
This one, though, this one is genuinely funny. Dean is wonderful. Sam is adorable. They are both woefully co-dependent. 'Nuff said. Although, obviously, I have already found way more to say about it than that!
Gordon really needs to take note that the one hunter he's managed to convert 100% to his cause makes even him feel uncomfortable. I can't help feeling, though, that a lot of other hunters will sympathise with their cause based on that 'no smoke without fire' thing. Really, really looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season pans out. I've missed having new eps to be excited about so much over the summer!
