In Sunday School this morning, one of our five-year-olds turned to me and solemnly said, "I can fly, you know." "Really?" says I. "Yes," says young Chrystal, "In the nights when everyone else is asleep, I fly to Fairyland because I'm the Tooth Fairy!"

So cute! Five is such a magical age. But then again, both of her parents are heavy marijuana smokers, so it's possible she has pretty vivid dreams as a result of passive smoking...

In Other News, spring appears to be sprung. I hope it lasts!

In Other, Other News, Deb has finally seen a neurologist, but had to go private to get an appointment earlier than July. The bloke she saw was at least thorough, talking through her symptoms and medical history in depth. She has had chronic migraine for weeks now, with persistent nausea to go with it, as well as other weird neurological symptoms - she can't recognise sounds that should be totally familiar, like a motorbike driving past or the hum the freezer makes; she can't remember what certain foods taste like, even long-standing favourites (she won't eat oranges or onions any more, both of which she loves, because she can't remember what they taste like and is afraid she'll be disappointed); she has lost her sense of smell. She can't even stand up straight, never mind walk in a straight line - attempting to stand still, she looks more like a drunken sailor on deck in a storm, according to Ray! Neurologist has booked her in for an MRI next week to rule out stroke, but suspects she may have a rare form of Chronic Migraine. So, watch this space for further news.
