fly-by update
Dec. 21st, 2011 02:07 pm1. I now declare myself ready for Christmas. Decorations are up. Shopping is done. Presents are wrapped. Cards are both written and sent. Now I just need work to break up for our Christmas shutdown and all will be festive!
2. Chelsea and Jamie are back together. Although slightly insecure still, Chel is about 100x calmer again immediately, after the tempestuous time we've had of it while they were broken up. What is it about that boy that has this magic effect on her? He's a nice enough lad, but he's just your average rather dim-witted and decidedly immature 16-year-old with a difficult home life. He is practically living with my parents this week - hasn't been home since Saturday. He'll have to go home at the weekend, though, since presumably his parents will want to have him with them for Christmas, although he doesn't seem all that keen.
