Bannau Brycheiniog
May. 4th, 2010 10:13 amWith Bank Holiday Monday turning out surprisingly dry, even sunny - albeit a little on the chilly side - the family phoned and said, 'we're going up to the Brecon Beacons for a walk, wanna come?' I said, 'sure', and then waited rather a long time for them to finish squabbling, get ready and come pick me up. Finally they arrived and then off we drove to our usual spot along the A470, just past the Storey Arms Outdoor Education Centre, right in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park - there's a little pull-in at the edge of the road, alongside a pretty little waterfall, and there we always park up to roam the side of the mountain.
