Jun. 14th, 2009 08:27 pmToday I bought a fridge and a carpet. I feel very poor now.
Also today, two of my cousins announced their pregnancies - they are sisters, and due within a fortnight of each other this December. Marvellous timing, eh. Just when we thought we were going to get a year without any new babies. We're due a couple of girls in the family, but odds on it'll be boys again. Between first cousins and children of first cousins, taking both sides of the family into account, we've had 15 babies in 13 years, from Small down, and only 3 of 'em are girls. Time will tell. Hate to think how Big Sis will feel when she hears. She wants children so desperately, but has always been thwarted at every turn.
