spring is in the air

Judging by all the yowling next door, and the sudden preponderance of tomcats in the garden, I'm going to go out on a limb and diagnose that my neighbours' little cat Socks has gone into heat.

Also? I know there have been at least a couple of nights in the last week or so when they have not been able to get her to come home. So the chances of kittens in the near future? Pretty high, I would say.

I am very glad that I had Poppy spayed! She is very freaked out by all these strange cats in her garden lately. She's such a little wuss.
