It is starting to get really cold now. And so, my little cat and I are currently engaged in a battle of wills. She wants the kitchen window left open so that she can come and go as she pleases; I would quite like to keep the window shut and be warm(er). So far, she is winning.

I had a lovely afternoon last Sunday, meeting up with [livejournal.com profile] welshdreamer again and [livejournal.com profile] clairabellep (complete with family). We visited the Doctor Who exhibition in Cardiff Bay, which had just re-opened the previous day after a refurbishment and was completely different than last time I went (which was way back when entry was free!). Since I only had the camera in my phone with me, I only took a handful of pictures compared to Gaynor and Mr P, but here's a couple anyway - not great quality, but they give you the gist. Daleks and K9. Daleks because they do somehow manage to be genuinely creepy on display, with the sound and movement to make you jump. And K9 because his little collar cracks me up!

And here's a couple of quick snaps of Cardiff Bay the week before, when I was down with Small, also taken with the camera in my phone and so not brilliant but the view is prettyish nonetheless, albeit a little grey and wintry.

In other news, life continues to suck, but the less said about that the better.

And, last but definitely not least: a birthday greeting for [livejournal.com profile] ne_quine

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TRACY!!
