Thanks to everyone who replied to my last entry. I turned the job down, and felt nothing but relief. Applied to M&S instead for seasonal work to tide me over in the meantime, because honestly - I'd much rather that than spend every night wandering unfamiliar streets in unfamiliar towns knocking on strangers' doors. *shudders*

Just have to hope something else comes along sooner rather than later. It's not like I don't have enough applications pending.

While I'm on, I'd like to quickly express birthday wishes for andreathelion - hope you're having a great day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

I did watch the new SN this morning - it was a much needed distraction! Not really in any fit state to make much comment today, but will just quickly say that ( cut! )

And now I am off to my parents' new house to continue stripping wallpaper, which should be good and therapeutic.
