Remember how just yesterday I mentioned the little white-and-ginger cat that Poppy was making friends with?

This morning I found him dead in my front garden. No obvious sign of injury, but I think he must have been hit by a car and had internal injuries, perhaps. I had to get Poppy's carrier out and take him around to the vet, and they scanned him, but he hasn't been chipped. I just hope they can track down the owner so that they'll at least know what happened to him. He was a lovely, affectionate little thing.
