Walking to work this morning, I passed a couple of very bedraggled looking pigeons, squatting in a muddy little puddle having a wash. As I passed, they froze and turned upon me identical expressions of outrage, all 'Do you mind? We're in the bath!' Heh.

Finally got around to having the film developed in my camera, and it turned out it went all the way back to last October. It'll probably be next Christmas before I finish the new film and get to see the rest of the pictures I took at the Wenallt last month, but here's one to prove that it was springlike and sunny for a while there!

A couple more completely random pics )

Last Thursday I arrived in the office to find that the carpet at the entrance to the corridor leading to my office was completely saturated. Water leak, I was told. All that day the lights in my room kept flickering, so - discounting vengeful spirits of any kind *G* - I came to the conclusion that the whole building was either going to burn down or collapse. It turned out that the ceiling in an office upstairs did collapse that day, due to water leaking through from our very dodgy roof. So I decided that my initial assessment was completely right: the building really is going to either burn down or collapse, possibly both. I just hope I'm not here when it happens! That carpet is still damp even now, days later.

Such is life in the voluntary sector, I'm afraid!
