it's what time again?
Mar. 26th, 2007 07:39 amAll this messing around with the clocks twice a year really shouldn't be allowed. I know it's only one hour but it always takes my body the longest time to adjust!
Had awful headache bordering on migraine all day Saturday, which pretty much wiped out the entire weekend for me because I'm always completely spaced the day after a migraine. Still, I managed to bake a big batch of Welsh cakes to share with the family. This, of course, prompted my little Calico cat to go into hysterics, because she's developed the most awful sweet tooth in her old age. And her sense of smell is getting ever more acute to compensate for her deteriorating eyesight and hearing. So, take the lid off the tin and she's instantly at your feet, dancing. You have to be really careful giving her bits though - always break a bit off and put it down for her to eat, never let her eat it out of your fingers because her eyesight isn't that good that she can tell anymore where the biscuit ends and finger begins!
Pets, huh.
Small was in a marvellous mood all weekend, all cutesy and huggsy and loveable. Made a nice change from the truculence that's usually more standard for her these days. Mum told her that we know where her little sisters are now, that they are safe and with family, and it was like a huge weight had lifted off her shoulders. She's obviously been a lot more worried about not knowing what had happened to them than anyone realised. Hopefully things will calm down now and she'll get herself back onto more of an even keel.
