I have to say, though, I'm not fond of this American thing where they have one guest being interviewed by about four people, who all talk at the same time so that half the interview consists of the interviewers all talking over the top of each other, rather than actual conversation with their guest.

Sep. 19th, 2006 08:44 pmI want there to be news on the adoption front tomorrow. Was shocking in work today. Couldn't concentrate on anything, was just fretful all day. And we had a staff meeting, which didn't help. I took part in the morning session, on Impact Assessment - basically all hands on deck collating information. Then I escaped for an hour to walk to M&S and buy lunch for everyone. And then Boss excused me from the afternoon session, which meant I was free to sit and stare at my computer screen, fretting.
I don't know when they will hear how it went. I'm very worried about the way this agency seems to be handling things all cock-eyed. My fingernails can't take much more of this!
