Jun. 27th, 2006 03:33 pmTuesday...turning out pretty good so far. Boss mine is away this week - her rich boyfriend has swept her off on a whistle-stop tour of the Grand Canyon. But today I had a couple of colleagues in, and we all took off down to the Bay for a long lunch. Very nice - meal at the Norwegian Church, followed by icecream at Cadwaladers. Fantastic. Shan't want to eat again for the rest of the day!
I started watching my Life on Mars DVDs last night, so am now feeling the Sam love, bless his bewildered little heart. And the Gene love - he's such a lout, and yet so appealing, and is good at what he does. And the Chris love, 'cause he's a little sweetheart, really.
Find that I can't watch anything now without mentally composing a review in my head. That's probably not a good thing. Must resist the temptation to start analysing anything more than I already do.
And I'm fairly sure there was something a lot more consequential than all that that I was going to post about, but whatever it was has completely slipped my mind now, so couldn't have been that important after all.
