A few ficcish thoughts about characterisation and development and the pros and cons of tight continuity ( under the cut )
a silent scream of frustration
Jun. 23rd, 2006 08:13 pmSo. I had a letter from the TV licensing board telling me that I don't have a TV license and owe them oodles of cash or they'll prosecute.
I have a TV license. It's in front of me right now, valid until 31 July 2006. I pay for it by direct debit, and have done for the two years I've been in this flat, and before that for the five or six years I was in the old flat. I have bank statements showing that the money has been debited from my account every month, like clockwork.
And then they have the nerve to write and threaten me with legal action? When they are the ones whose accounts are at fault?
Am steaming. Of course, it being the weekend their phone lines are closed. Will be making lots of complaints on Monday.
Bah.
