One advantage of being off sick, I've had lotsa lotsa time to hang around the house doing very little.

Feeling inspired to learn something new, I've been taking advantage of Nikki's tutorials at Misplaced, trying to learn a little bit about photo-art and how to play with images. So far, seeing ashow I only have Photoshop Elements 2.0, which isn't the best programme, I've mostly stuck to blending.

I decided to create a banner for my VS, and this is my first attempt.

Not perfect, but could be worse.

And now I've completely exhausted my creativity for the day...

I got around to watching Judge John Deed this morning, but was distracted by a phone call half way through and now can't summon up any brain power to write up my usual review-type thingy.

Glad I didn't try going to work today - have felt lousy most of the day. Also, I tried phoning in and there was no one there, so if I had martyred myself and gone in, I'd have been miserable all alone. I haven't decided about tomorrow yet. On the one hand, if I feel like this I'm better off staying home. But on the other hand, Tuesday is Cyril day, so I'd have a lift in, and potentially home again as well. Plus I've got that dental appointment anyway, and I'd be halfway there if I went with Cyril, rather than having to take two buses...

I'll see how I feel tomorrow, I think.
