Dec. 29th, 2005 03:12 pmAnd the snow hits Cardiff at last. Am now freezing, having had to walk home through it - Boss Mine was meeting her Rich Boyfriend and Son after our lunch out with Cyril, so dropped me off en route rather than taking me all the way home.
Nice lunch - I can thoroughly recommend the Dragonfly on Cleppa Park near Newport. Beautiful. Cyril had a whale of a time, and talked non-stop the whole time. I hardly needed to open my mouth. Hopefully we made him feel nice and special, because he's worth fussing over once in a while - a truly Super volunteer.
And tonight I shall have to brave the elements once more and walk around to Molly's house to give her her birthday present. She will be 65 this Saturday. And, of course, we'll have lots of catch up on. Shall also be cooking her a meal, but won't want to eat much myself after the gargantuan portions at the Dragonfly followed by dessert!
