Nov. 22nd, 2005 10:02 amSo, another chilly day in Cardiff. And meanwhile, that Boss of mine has been swept off to see the Taj Mahal by her Rich Boyfriend. Just for the day. They flew out club class last night, are spending the day at the Taj Mahal, and will fly back tonight. She'll be back in work on Thursday.
Nice for some, eh.
Meanwhile, I'm fielding phone calls from sickly colleagues unable to come into work. I tell them to stay in bed and keep warm, lots of fluids, etc. I have no authority to grant sick leave, but if I'm the only one here to say, "That's okay, you get yourself better," then so be it.
