I like my boss when she is around.

Today...we took a three hour lunch break. Her very rich boyfriend, the property surveyor, is thinking of investing in some properties down here, so we went to scout them out for him. A delicious lunch at a lovely old-fashioned little café near my house and some window shopping was thrown into the mix as well. And we also invested in cake, which was brought back to the office with us for afternoon tea...

A delicious lunch at a lovely old-fashioned little café near my house and some window shopping was thrown into the mix as well. And we also invested in cake, which was brought back to the office with us for afternoon tea...

Christmas is coming

Met the family after work and went across to Cathays Park to see David Tennant and Billie Piper turning the Christmas lights on.

It was very cold. And there were lots of people there. I had to lift the poorly Small one up so she could see, and boy is she heavy to hold for an extended period of time. But she was so thrilled to see Rose and the new Doctor Who in Real Life.

They didn't say much about the new series. David Tennant kept starting to talk about the filming he's done so far, but also kept stopping himself. "I can't talk about that. I can't give anything away!"

And then, as payment for my lift home, I had the entire family descended on me for chip shop chips. Which I didn't even get to share, not being hungry after my massive lunch out with the boss. But they did at least wash up after themselves before leaving.
