This week has had plenty going on.

First of all, I successfully decorated my bedroom. Hard physical labour, but very relaxing. It was fun.

Then, I was made a moderator at buffyworld forums, much to my surprise. This means that I now have all kinds of nifty superpowers to add to the special privileges I already enjoyed as a member of the Written Panel and a newly seconded staff writer on the forum's official Season Eight. Funny how things turn out.

I also did that dreadful thing - uploaded my new Buffy story Wish Unbroken to fanfiction.net, just for the potential gratification of getting gushing feedback. Which has now happened, proving that this tactic works. How awful!

In addition, I was randomly propositioned by a complete stranger, met Ashley for a cuppa for the first time, got deeply annoyed with my Boss (not to mention worried about how her slack attitude of late will affect the organisation long term), put about half of my newsletter together, and agreed to have the Small Cyclone again this weekend.

Wonder what next week will hold.

So, I got kicked out of work this afternoon! The security guard came around at 3.20 and said that everyone else had left early, I was the only one left, and he wanted to lock up and go home, so would I mind leaving please!

I said, sure thing!

I now have my Small Cyclone of a sister here for the weekend. We are watching Jumanji. My other sister, the highly accident prone older one, has apparently broken a rib falling downstairs this week. Typical. This comes just weeks after she broke a tooth eating toffee, refused to see a dentist about it, and ended up with a serious abcess. She has always got something wrong with her - it is hard to keep up with!

Congratulations to Cardiff for winning the Britain in Bloom Competition, finally - they've been entering for years, so all those flowers scattered around the city have finally paid off!

Also, it looks like all my efforts to get my driving licence before my dad has his knee surgery are in vain, because they've now decided to refer him to Weston Supermare for the operation, and it could happen as soon as within six weeks. Ah well, at least its given me the motivation to get off my bum and start having the lessons, even if I'm not ready in time.
