Bah

Feeling sleepy and grumpy this morning. That bodes well for the day. Got a big meeting this morning, followed by re-scheduled driving lesson at lunchtime, volunteers in my ear and a big mailout to do that was dumped on me at the last minute (as usual). I really wish I could persuade people that it isn't on to do that - I do actually have work of my own to do that doesn't involve twiddling my thumbs waiting for them to give their stuff to me. And when I say I need notice to do a mailshot, that doesn't mean casually mentioning they have something coming up and then dropping it on me 3 weeks later saying 'this is now urgent and has to go today'. What I actually mean is, give me the complete mailing with at least a week to go before the last day it has to go, so I can schedule it into my workload and prioritise accordingly.

Like I said, feeling grumpy today. *rolleyes*
