Jun. 17th, 2005 10:38 amToday...I had to have my bloods taken before work, which is never fun. But at least the phlebotomist didn't leave finger prints bruised into my flesh this time, like she has done in the past. It's the fasting part of the blood test I really don't enjoy. I like a good breakfast in me before I get into work.
In other news, Brother-in-Law has managed to write off yet another car. That's the fourth or fifth since last summer. This time, he was stationary in traffic on the M25 when another car doing 30mph went into the back of him - the driver was talking on her mobile phone and has admitted full responsibility. So, pop goes another car (he's had it all of three weeks!) and R got to spend several hours in casualty with bruising and whiplash. I remember when D first brought him home. A paramedic who teaches first aid. We all thought it was great - someone who could look after her. Turns out, she's married a clone. If someone can go wrong, it will happen to her, and if something goes wrong, it will happen to him. This is how it will always be.
So, I plod along being the one member of the family no one ever has to worry about.
