I think they've moved on from the Christmas special and into the new season proper - Pearl Mackie started filming a few weeks ago, the snow scene behind the uni was her first location shoot. If the knights on horseback were Doctor Who and not something else (Casualty or Holby City less likely, all things considered, but it could have been something for CBBC) then I'm guessing that's a different episode again. Time will tell!
