I'm almost scared to wonder what Moffat has planned for the anniversary, because I'm not so keen on his narrative style - fingers crossed!

If nothing else, the golden anniversary year has some amazing DVD releases planned...

Woot! Happy Doctor Who day indeed! I wish I could be excited about the 50th anniversary special next year, but blech, Moffat...:/

Eh, I know what you mean, but such is life. Instead of worrying about that, I'm directing my energies toward being excited about the last few DVD releases - in particular Reign of Terror because they've animated the two missing episodes (including Ian in chains being roughed up for information), and Terror of the Zygons, which is going to have a director's cut of a deleted scene re-inserted into its proper place (never before seen footage of Four, Sarah and Harry!). May not sound exciting to anyone else, but I'm looking forward to it!

Yep, 49 years - heading for the big 50 next year!

Bit nervous about what Moffat might have planned for that...he's not the safest pair of hands fo have at the wheel for such a big occasion, but such is life!
