saturday

It's been a nice day. I went to a little fête they were holding at a local church this morning and bought all kinds of little bits and pieces I didn't need (mostly plants) for next to nothing. Then my cousin Rachel came to visit with her new baby, so I had lots of lovely cuddles with Millie-Rose, who is gorgeous and very tiny still, at 8 weeks old. Then I went to another fête, this time a garden fête over in Vicky Park, and bought even more plants plus a hand-made willow obelisk for my everlasting pea to grow up. I also rescued a lost child while I was there. Her mother hadn't even noticed she was missing!

All in all, I feel I have done my bit to support the local community today!

Sounds like it! Glad you had some nice fete times. Will we get photos of these news plants? ;D Lucky you helped out that lost child!

If the new plants grow pretty flowers, it is almost certain there will be piccies eventually!

That poor kiddie. The mother hadn't even realised she'd wandered off!

It was obviously the day for it yesterday - it was my Mum's church fête, our town church's Medieval day and Helen (Tractor Girl from Nfans) church fête too!

I think my favourite part of the day was Alfie's face when confronted with a miniature human for the first time - he found the baby fascinating. And when she started crying he was beside himself with not knowing how to react! LOL
