Big cats at Chessington World of Adventure earlier this month:



A gorilla looking tough and moody, as only a gorilla can


A seahorse, just because - pretty!


But this is my favourite picure that I took that day, because my cats tend to fall asleep forgetting that they've left their tongue sticking out, too!

Such a typical kitty thing to do - but it looked so funny to see the tiger doing it! He lounged there with his tongue out for about 5 minutes!

Oh, big kitties! That last shot is wonderful... such a great feline pose. Heh, when you look at the size of their paws you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of one...

I always have mixed feelings about zoos like the one at Chessington, as the big animals don't seem to have much space, which makes my inner zoologist feel a bit concerned - but they are beauties, aren't they!

They are gorgeous, aren't they? I always feel a bit guilty about zoos as the animals don't have that much space to move about in...but it is amazing to be able to see them up close.
