I'm still hung up on wondering who thought it would be a good idea to have major roadworks going on right in the centre of Cardiff at the same time that we are expecting an increase in tourists coming for the golf!
More than that, I'm wondering who was the genius who looked at the traffic congestion in Cardiff city centre and thought to himself, 'okay, so if there are several roads that all get gummed up at busy times, obviously if we reduce both the number of roads and the lanes available in those that are left, that will solve the problem'! I mean, surely any blind fool could see that concentrating the same amount of traffic into an ever-decreasing number of roads/lanes would only make matters worse...
But who am I to judge decisions made by the Highways Dept? I'm only a service-user, after all - what do I know? *le sigh*
