The second and final part of Flood was as good as the first. Formulaic, in the way that all disaster movies are, but the acting was strong and the characters engaging, while the storyline successfully gripped me. ♥ Tom Courtenay. Poor Leonard. :(

Weird to hear Robert Carlyle talking without his Scots accent, though!

Also yesterday, I went for a walk with the family up to the Wenallt hill just outside the city. The hillside was absolutely blanketed with bluebells, which were stunning. Took just a handful of pictures, and they are now posted over at the [livejournal.com profile] scene_again community.

I thought Robert Carlyle's accent was a bit patchy to be honest, but it wasn too distracting.

The second part was really touching in parts, too.

This was really good. there arent many shows that could keep me watching for 4 hours so well done ITV.

He certainly didn't sound like himself!

Those pics are lovely. I love the impromptu wigwam, and Small is looking quite pensive. *g*

Heh, yeah, she was concentrating on not letting the wriggler go until I'd taken the pic! And Ruby just wanted to run over and let me know how excited she was. *G*
