That was a really pretty day up on the Wenallt - I took loads of pictures, although as I said, they probably won't get developed till next Christmas now! I really need a digital camera for the instant gratification...

Yep, Calico was a very poorly old girl already at Christmas - it was last summer that she really started to go downhill. We wondered if Chess might start to socialise more once she was gone, but not as of yet. Chess likes to know that people are around - if the house is quiet she'll wander downstairs just to see where everyone is and what they are doing. But that doesn't mean she actually wants to be in the same room as anyone, or be picked up, or even looked at! Very odd cat.
