Yahoo has just decided to deliver two days' worth of emails all in one big lump. So where the heck has it been hiding all those mails for the last two days since they were sent? Been floating randomly around the ether?
Hotmail does that to me, and sometimes a week's worth - particularly list mail, actually. Infuriating, no?
And still no confirmation from the bloody French, who have probably buggered off on holiday. Have sent ever-so-slightly irritated mail saying SO WHEN? Mid-October or early November? Or has it changed again? Guh. It's not just you coming over but also to try and schedule our paperchase-house-buying stuff which needs to be slotted in as well. Interestingly, when reacting to my terribly *polite* mail about 'how would you react if I was a little further away from Lyon', their one question was 'how fast COULD you get here in an emergency'. Answer: in less than 24 hours, probably within 12... and the most urgent I've had so far was 3 days notice and that *was* for something that came up fast. But the problem is, basically, they *forget to tell me* about meetings they've had scheduled for months.
