yikes

So my shower exploded this morning. I was in it at the time and suddenly there was a series of bangs, sparks, smoke - the full shebang.

I got out of there pretty damn quick! Turned it off at the fusebox, called my dadlandlord, closed the door on it.

So the shower is now well and truly broke.

And I'm still jittery several hours later. That was not a good way to start the day!

!!!!

No wonder you're jittery.

Were you mid-shampoo? 'Cause that would be (even more) unfortunate!!

Oh no - shades of Shelley Hunter, only much much worse... I thought showers weren't supposed to do the whole exploding-with-sparks thing, you know, with all that water around... Glad you're okay...

Scary. Sparks and smoke + water is a very bad combination. I'm glad you're alright. I'm curious to know how a plumbing and electrical get crossed. :(

Eep!! An exploding shower first thing in the morning... so not good. And what a shock... glad you're all right and hope you get it fixed soon.

Eek! Showers should not explode! That is a fairly good rule for showers, I think. Poor you - I hope you can get it a new one sorted fairly soon. (Showerlessness is always a frustrating state of being).
