It's been horrible. And an insight into how fast social media and the rumour mill can carry information - so many accurate details of what had happened were flying around the city long before any of the news websites picked up the story. All the stories I heard on the bus have been proved true - including the woman sat in front of me who said a young mum with a pushchair had been hit. I never dreamt she was talking about someone I knew - I just hope Annie recovers quickly and the little one isn't too traumatised. :(
