I'm not a great fan of golf, but my Proud Mother mode is kicking in for the Ryder Cup - or at least for something connected to it. 15 yr old Thomas sings with Only Boys Aloud, and he came home Wednesday night absolutely buzzing after the inaugural concert. He sang for HRH the Prince of Wales; he shared a stage (or something) with Catherine Zeta Jones and Katherine Jenkins. So YAY! for the Ryder Cup, even though I really couldn't give two hoots what happens next in it.

I'll be cursing it soon enough, I daresay: I may be attending a funeral in Newport soon, and the place is likely to be overflowing with irritating golfpeeps.
