catsdownunder, it kills me that your old account has remained locked in third place for so long after it was deactivated!And now for a 2009 retrospective meme - the first sentence from each proper post in each month in 2009.
January - Phew! Okay, this one was absolutely exhausting! And also possibly my longest recap to date - it certainly feels like it, anyway, although I haven't actually conducted a word count to check. (LOL - figures that my first post of the year would have been a recap! How times have changed)
February - I tried to get a picture of Poppy playing in the snow for the first time this morning - she's never seen it before and was fascinated. Alas, though, she wouldn't keep still, just kept bouncing around like a little lamb.
March - Went to a family wedding on Saturday. Now that was a long day, but it was great fun.
April - Wales-Germany last night was a much better game than Finland on Saturday.
May - Travelled up to Oxford yesterday afternoon for my uncle's funeral.
June - So my sister found a lump in her breast over the weekend.
July - You know what I want? A new vaccuum cleaner. One that actually picks up dust and dirt instead of just flirting with it.
August - I seem to have acquired an extraneous feline mouth to feed, somewhere along the line.
September - A bank holiday mostly without rain, huh - who'd have thunk it?
October - Two weeks today I will be bringing my wee kitten home to live.
November - It has been a really long time since I attempted to write fic.
December - Apparently I've not had that much to say, lately. It has been wet and miserable and I've been drowning in work and other projects.
Right, so that was 2009 - shockingly domestic and family-oriented, by the looks of it!
