Word of warning: this recap has been assembled piecemeal over rather a considerable length of time. It has been through an editing and revision process, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will read as smoothly as I might like!

Final thought: At this rate, I think I can reasonably expect to finish recapping season five around about the time that the season six finale airs, should there be such a thing as a season six. This would mean that recaps for this theoretical season six should be completed over the two years following...

Best not to think about it. I shall continue to focus on one recap at a time, and let them take as long as they need! This one is pretty lengthy, as has become ridiculously standard, because there is a hell of a lot to discuss, between the various characters and storylines crammed in there.
