I usually dislike Christmas episodes, but I think this one was done very nicely. No one was throwing up emotions all over the place - the boys stayed totally in character.
I loved little Sammy. That kid had Sam's puppy dog looks down pat, and he just...really seemed like Sam. And it figures that Sam read John's journal - although I wonder if John left it or Sam took it out of his bag or something.
And young Dean - in "Something Wicked" I was kind of indifferent to him - he didn't scream 'Dean' - but this ep I was like, "Yep that's Dean."
And I like it when Sam takes a few minutes to reflect on how Dean was always thinking of him first, and lets Dean know that he was grateful, because you can really tell how much Sam showing Dean he cares means to Dean.
