I know almost next to nothing about Deadwood going into it. Pretty much all I knew when I sat down to watch the first episode was 'Western', 'bad language' and 'critical acclaim', also that Jim Beaver is in it, plus the fact that a few friends had recommended it (one of whom supplied the DVDs, many thanks, Chris). So I was sat there going 'oooh, Ian McShane! Lovejoy!' Trying to work out (and remember!) who is who and how they connect is likely to take a few episodes...

Just finding time to watch everything on my list is going to take some schedule juggling, methinks!
