Oh sweetheart, I'm so very sorry :( *hugs* I went through something similar with our cat a few years ago, who had been with us for nearly 20 years, and it's a horrible time. But I hope, like I did, you can take some comfort in the fact that she must have had a wonderful life with you for all those years, and that in the end she didn't suffer.
