Bugger, damn and blast.

Getting dressed this morning, I heard a noise at the back door and went to have a look - found some bloke peering in (or trying to) through the frosted glass. He scarpered the moment he saw me.

Bollocks. Felt all shaky, and stood in the kitchen in the dark for ages because it gives a good view of the back door and garden. Not scared, because there's a big difference between looking through someone's door and kicking it in while they are present, but nervous in case he/someone comes back while I'm out and tries the burglary thing again.

Am strongly tempted to drag something heavy, like the tumble drier, in front of the back door before I go out.

Darn.

My jaw was hurting when I woke up this morning. Am really not in the mood for all this right now.

OMG! REPORT THIS TO THE POLICE (remind them that you are the one that had your house forcibly broken into!) Keep that new camera handy and if it should happen again (God forbid) snap a photo of the bastard!

Have you gotten some security service stickers and stuck them in the windows? (You don't actually have to *have* a security service...) That might be a cheap deterrent.

DO report this - They should know of further suspicious activity.
