This has been kind of a busy week, but I've managed to pull a recap together in time for the new episode.

So here we go: 26 pages in which I waffle on about the impact of the Writer's Strike on the placement of this episode, the tight plot structure and clever use of unusual format, the cementing of the timeline, the benefits of the outsider perspective, the group dynamics of the Ghostfacers, how Sam'n'Dean come across to strangers, internal meta, Sam's acceptance of who he is and surrender of the person he once wanted to be, Dean's newfound inner peace versus Sam's freaking out about how little time remains to them, the detachment of the cameraman and use thereof as a coping mechanism in crisis, Ed and Harry's character growth, how great it is to see the brothers so at ease with one another, and how fantastic it is in general to have the show back.
