Sep. 23rd, 2006 08:30 amJust wanted to say thank you to everyone who left messages of support after my last post. Sorry I haven't replied individually – I've been feeling too wiped out to think straight. But I've really appreciated everyone's support.
Deb and Ray are going to appeal the panel's decision, as the head of the agency wants them to. But it is likely to be a long and stressful process. And little C, who they had hoped would be theirs by Christmas, is being taken off reserve and will be placed with the second best couple. So I went to all the trouble of learning her exact medical condition – Congenital Central Hypoventilation Syndrome, only 300 cases in the world – for nothing. I really hope she is happy with whatever family she ends up with and has a good life.
But more than that I hope my sister and her husband will one day be able to realise their dream of becoming parents. They have so much love to offer.
Hugs to everyone.
Especial hugs to
shaw012145 for Dixie's safe return home after a month away. The traumas our pets put us through. But miracles do happen!
